Great honest book. Don't recommend it for children who get upset about the natural life cycle of the octopus. It tells them that only 2 octopus babies survive out of hundreds. Made my grandson sad.
Both my 4 year old grand daughters loves this book. Great book to read to children. They got a greater appreciation, respect and understanding of sea life. I'll be getting the other books written by this author.
